1/350th for that size should be pretty well balanced actually. Fully scale would get a bit huge considering.
Action Transport Project, Wild Karrde
Very cool. Anxiously monitoring your progress. I always loved this ship.
It still looks awesome, is 1:350 the same scale as the rebel transport? I think it will look good on the table anyway.
Margathea, What models?
Sorry it took me so long to get back. This model kit, it's a 1:350 scale. https://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm/product/2522/1350-bulk-transport---wild-karrde.cfm
Thinking about stats for this guy.
PS3 Rebel troop transport - same exact specs as the GR75
PS3 Imperial heavy freight - same exact specs as the GR75
PS4 Imp Patrol vessel - same exact specs as the GR75 except 2 red and two academy ties
PS4 Wild Karrde - same exact specs as the GR75 except 3 red and one Z95 with a a missile
Was thinking, if the base GR75 is 30 points, the PS4 could be 55-ish points.
Thoughts?
Don't forget that the Wild Karrde was armed with three hidden turbolasers.

That sounds pretty good, I know that the Wild Karrde had a lot of listening equipment and sensors, you might want to reflect that in some way.
Millenium - Awesome sauce.
Magrathea - I put weapons engineer with FCS, it wreaked havoc with a turret! Do you think that would be too much? I'm interested in any ideas you may have.

Some updates.
Great job, but **** that is one ugly ship. Why are so many of the EU ships so ugly?
That doesn't sound too powerful unless you are going to give abilities to evade. Are you going to give it energy rules? Obviously, we don't know how those work yet.
Looks great by the way.

Good job so far.... thanks for sharing.
This is looking awesome, good to see another project in the background as well.
How long do you think it will take to get it finished?

I'm planning to give it the exact same rules as the GR75. I might make slight changes to make it taste ... imp-ish. I guess it depends on whatever comes with the GR75.

The two other projects on the desk are a YT conversion and a YZ-775 modification. I started a thread about it yesterday. It is basically one of Gosric's Voidrunners. I bought two and am converting one to be a techie-type-ship. My idea for the YZ would be to have a support role via technology, with two sensor upgrade slots. I'll post pics of the YZ-775-mod when I get it finished. The other Voidrunner will be a standard ORS, or maybe have YZ-775 cards. IDKY. They are too small to be authentic 1:270, but then again, so are the huge ships.
I'm not rushing to get this done because I want it to have the same base/connectors as the GR75. We don't know how they work, so I don't know how to model the bottom of the ship.
I'm resisting starting one of these until I clear up some other conversion projects that have been in the works for awhile.
But I did pick up one of the tiny Wiz Kids ones for a 3-D reference model... If I do build one, 1/350 would be a very likely choice.
Red, please post pics if you do make an Action.
Tonight I pretty much greebled. That is time consuming. Hours later, it doesn't look like I accomplished much, but lots of little details make a big difference in the end.
Amazing, I really want one of these now!!
I had kids and can't play X-Wing anymore. I've put the Wild Karrde Action Transport up for sale on my Etsy shop. I wired the engines to light up.
I listed it there but the price is negotiable.
I couldn't upload a picture because my work computer is low grade. There is a picture on Etsy.
The Viceroy.
Every time I see the Wild Karrde I think... Dustbuster. Your work looks truly amazing. Awesome job!

Thanks Archangel. I listed it on my Etsy store for sale, but I can sell it here for less if someone is interested. Hear that world? Make me an offer. I'm into militaria, so trades are considered.
Wow, that looks great. A bit out of my range, but a beautiful ship. Well done.
Pm me and make me an offer.
