In preparation for an upcomng store championship I've decided to use a Falcon (mainly since I haven't used it competetively before) supported with some smaller rebel ships.

For my first trials I am choosing between the following:

Lando (44) with

Nien Nunb (1)

Swarm Tactics (2) or Anti-Pursuit Lasers (2)

Blue Squadron Pilot (22) with

Heavy Laser Cannon (7)

Gold Squadron Pilot (18) with

Ion Cannon Turret (5)

R5 Astromech (1)

Is the Swarm Tactics better than the Anti-Pursuit Lasers in this build, do you think?

I think ST would be better because with Lando's high PS you usually will be moving after everyone else and not get many opportunities to use the anti pursuit lasers.

that being said i would rather have expert handling. It gives lando a BARREL ROLL which is a gigantic manuver because of the falcon's big fat ass

oh and drop the R5 and take the initiative or take an R2 for manuverability isntead. the ywing wont be the target

maybe drop r5 and niennumb to pick up mercenary co-pilot? just a thought

hehe sorry for th emany post but one more thought: convert your current y-wing build to: Roark + ion turret...same cost as your current build with the added feature of making someone PS 12

I need Nien to get as many green maneuvers as possible to use Lando's ability to give the B-Wing Target Lock late in tge movement phase (after it has taken Focus on its own).

I agree that Swarm Tactics most likely is a better pick than Anti-Pursuit Laser as it would grant the B-Wing an earlier HLC shot.

Still, Expert Handling is an intriguing suggestion.

Roark is not an option, with only three ships I need the hit points.
