So Z-95s vs Dragons obviously.

That sounds fun... depends on how awesome the minis are. Look ok from what I see. But with Wizkids I expect cost and "Random packaging" issues.

WizKids adopted the X-Wing model as far as core set and expansions with Star Trek Attack Wing. They have already put up place holder solicitations for the D&D Dragon version. Its the same release model. A core set with 3 minis and then 8 expansions for wave 1. Unfortunately, there are no details about the game past the number of skus and the fact it is using the flight path system.

I've been a long time heroclix player. I couldn't get into Star Trek Attack Wing because it was just a reuse of the Heroclix minis, which left me underwhelmed. On top of that, I was never a fan of Star Trek.

I'm cautiously optimistic. If the minis look halfway decent, and the game feels different enough from X-Wing and Attack Wing, I'll probably give it a try.

I hope it is very very close to Xwing! A good fantasy minis game that includes air and ground forces and as balanced as Xwing? It would sell like... Well...Xwing!

I was actually hoping FFG would snag the rights to an "Aliens" minis game... Now there is something with potential. 2.5 factions... Loads of fluff and flavor... Would work awesome as a skirmish game.

Sadly, I picked up FFG's Valyndrya miniature for Descent. Sort of spoiled me on what a Dragon mini should be. There is no way Wizkid's can come close to it.

Yeah if WizKids get their stuff together and do this right it could be a direct competitor to X-Wing and an awesome game on it own. I really like the theme and the minis and gameplay, if done right, could make this game as good as X-Wing.

But it's wizkids...so... yeah...

Yeah they're reknown for their lack of quality consistency but i'm still curious to see how it'll turn out.

I have Mage Knight with all expansions and apart from some cards that got damaged in the packing process the game was flawless. And I also got replacement cards using their CS.

... epic fail will ensue.

Sounds like a neat idea, but still won't get me to buy from that company.
