No... what I see is that this should really shift the meta towards elite 3 ships on both sides.
Agreed, but best part IMO is this wave doesn't really make any of the older ships obsolete.
Dutch + R7-T1. Get a lock then boost out of arc. Then Pass a new lock to a friend.
Maybe the Outmaneuver card allows a boost action on the E Wing?
This would also fit with the Defender as it has no boost action but why no boost card here?

I can't believe they actually went through with the TIE Phantom. The others I could see. The Phantom, though? It's only from one game. I'm cool with it, just very surprised.
I hope this doesn't mean they've skipped the Avenger, though ... that was my favorite ship in TIE Fighter. =\

Anything with Munitions doesn't fit IMO anyway...
the E-Wing doesn't have it, but it can carry flechette Torps. But the Tie Phantom doesn't seem to get any sort of Munitions, but it has what looks like the same rules card.

That's what I figure.
Interesting the higest skill level for the Defender is 8.
I am looking forward to the TIE Phantom I hope its rules for cloaking actully fit the attributes of being stealthed unlike how they handled it in the ST version of this game were cloak = 4 extra dodge dice.

Agree that the Outmaneuver card must be something different than a simple boost.

I think the stygium card says "when you either decloak or perform a cloak action you may perform a free move action".

Maybe it legally alows you to look at a sleceted enemy dial AND alows you to change yours before moving.
R2-D2 on a E-wing which has a dial like an A-Wing. That's a lot of shield regeneration
Is it just me or does the TD have a Green straight 5 showing on the dial?
Also can anyone make out what the other rule card with the Z95 is?
Like the ion pulse missile in concept but wonder how useful it really will be. That said, 5 Z95's with conc missiles, or assault missiles makes for one heck of a alpha.
Really love that the E-Wing comes with advanced sensors.
Well, the way I look at the Ion pulse missiles is that they're begging to be used against large based ships like the Firespray and Lambda - 2 Ion tokens right off the hop.. That's going to throw a monkey wrench into someone's plans..

Could be similar to Turr Phenir's ability. the top of the card looks to read:
" when attacking .... Your firing Arc.."

We've all just taken our first step into a larger world!
First, I must prepare to feast on the tears of those that will be upset of having Advanced Sensors be in the E-wing pack after buying 3-4 Shuttles.
A LOT of cool stuff to take in. The Z-95 brings the swarm to Rebels. It would be an interesting fight. I look forward to the new Missile. Remember, it might not do a lot, but it is the cheapest Missile we have now. Strip stealth at Range 3, while keeping the guy in the back? Not bad. Looking forward to the new Elite Talents and the Munitions ??? Modification. While it is only included with Missile carriers, it doesn't mean it can't be used by Torpedo carriers. And the E-wing pack is bonkers for Rebels. An Astromech that give a free boost action for Target Lock? Man, so many fun ships to use it with. Add in the new R7, X's and Y's may get another nice boost. Add in the new Elite Talent and another Flechette Torpedo (which looks CHEAP), Rebels will want a few E-wing packs just for the cards. Ship looks good as well. Etahn is going to be brutal with some support (Z-95's perhaps?)
Not going to lie, the Defender is slightly disappointing. No Evade action, and only the Missile and Cannon upgrade? Plus, it only comes with the Ion Cannon? We will see what that new Mod and Elite Talents are. It is still a great ship, but nothing amazingly exciting so far. Probably has an amazing dial. Still trying to process the Phantom. 4 Attack is insane. Add in the new Cloak action. Look forward to seeing how it plays, and what those Mods/Titles do. Only Sensor and Crew could be interesting. Definatly not putting Vader on one of these fighters. But more Recon Specialists and the new Tactician could be interesting.

Very true. If, however, as someone suggested it copies Turr Phennir's ability, I see green squadron swarms in my future.
