Thoughts on this build...

I like using roark's ability lately and four ship builds. Which do you like better?

Roark+ion turret

Garven

rookie

Blue+HLC

Roark+ion turret

Garven+R2

Red+R2

Blue+As

Roark+IT

rookie+R2

Prototype

Ibtisam+HLC+Elusive

Not bad. I've tried using Roark with this

The idea is that with ST you get 2 Level 12 A-wings. I would change some stuff from that build though. Drop RS and BT and add Ion Turret. Upgrade the B-wig to Ibby with PTL and either drop the HM on the A for an HLC on Ibby or give her Adv Sensors and the A wing concussion/Cluster. So you end up with something like this

Roark Garnet (24)
HWK-290 (19), Ion Cannon Turret (5)

Green Squadron Pilot (25)
A-Wing (19), Concussion Missiles (4), Swarm Tactics (2)

Prototype Pilot (17)

Ibtisam (34)
B-Wing (28), Advanced Sensors (3), Push the Limit (3)

Decent PS all the way around. Ibby is the hammer, the rest are there to finish off what she leaves or gang up on ships like a mini swarm.

Edit: You could probably find a similar build with the A-wing giving ST to an x-wing but it would be harder for the X-wing to keep up with the A so the ST may not be reliable or you might get your A-wing blowed up real fast because you are trying to keep it close to the X-wing

I like the first list as is. It has action synergy with Garven, who has a "high" PS anyways (shoots before the generics at least). Then you have two targets for Roark, both of which are dangerous, obviously the HLC is the preferred target, but he's also the preferred target to get dead.

Not a big fan of the second list. The R2s don't really add too much (though they can be a life savor against a rebel captive / Kath... against the rest of the builds, they're not really worth it) and now you've kind of undid some of Roark's ability by making the Rookie a Red. And you killed the HLC for AdvS (and the other upgrades). So the Blue isn't as dangerous anymore.

As for the third list, I like it as well, but I would tweak it a bit. Switch HLC for Sensor Jammer + Stealth, and drop the R2 for init. This way, you have two players moving first at PS1 and PS2 that can block and action deny the opponent. Meanwhile, Ibby is a tank, with all sorts of defensive tricks. And then on the offensive, you should have a good R1 shot with the proto and the rookie, seeing as they're up bumping folks, you can Roark one of them to vap an injured guy. And Ibby is still the main target (one could potentially go after the rookie first since he'd be easier to kill, but most don't realize how hard Ibby is to kill like that) but is a sob to hit. Meanwhile, as in all the builds, Roark is ionizing one of them, pulling them out of the fight for a turn or two. Now I want to try this out!
