I bought some of the pens to do my tokens, and had the thought to take them to some of my models as well. I've always wanted some custom paintjobs, but with zero actual painting talent, I never bothered until these came along.

I ended up picking up some more colors, as well as the extra-fine markers for most colors to get the narrow spots. Most were then hit with a dark wash to bring the details back out and dirty up the paintjob. Here's most of what I have so far. The YT, other Firespray, and B-wing just have some small highlights so I didn't take pics.

I also added some gold to one of my Firesprays to differentiate it.

Good stuff. Looks like it needs a wash at least to finish but good stuff so far.

Some colors seem a bit too colorful, but that gold part on the Firespray looks fantastic

The blue on the HWK looks pretty darn slick

The X-wings and Y-wings are a little too glossy for me but **** that HWK and Firespray look **** good!

I tried using the acrylic paint pens I bought for my tokens and, well... it doesn't work nearly as well. The paint is too thin and watery, not to mention the tip is medium as opposed to fine, let alone extra -fine. I guess I'll have to order some online...
