That announcement will probably come later in the year. Likely around the same time they announced the AoR Beta, which was back around August according to FFG's news archives.

Wow. Got racism? Complaining about a demographics issue, insulting the editors, and then committing racism, and sexism, in a single sentence. It's like a bigot haiku....

Maybe the editors looked at Luke, Leia, and Lando (the 3 L's) in the context of Empire Strike Back, and decided hmmmmm young fresh faced idealists from poverty and privilege, unknowingly united by birth, separated by fate, and united again in common cause against galactic tyranny balanced against the cloud city administrator motivated by self interest engaging in underhanded opportunistic dealing, and then decided to judge them all by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Cool idea I think, maybe you do to, you should Google it.......enjoy the ignore list.

But hey, I don't want to get too involved in a controversial situation...

And yeah, Lando would have been better suited for EotE, but Han and Chewie beat him to it by being figureheads. From what we've seen, we're getting main figureheads that are well known. We all know that Han and Chewie are smugglers. We all know that Luke and Leia are Rebels. We all know Kenobi Yoda are Jedi, and that Vader might fall under the premise of Jedi. Lando, however, is more of a secondary character. He joined the game late and played the back seat more. True, in the EU he is a very interesting man, but he only served three better known roles in the movies: betraying Han, saving Han, bombing the Death Star the second time around. And that last one is a lesser one still. And, since he joined the Rebellion later in the movies during RotJ, I don't think he was a Rebel at the point when gameplay is around. This is boosted by Jewel of Yavin referring to the presence of Lando, meaning he'll get his show time as a smuggler, not a Rebel.

I'll admit to being excited, but I'm a little disappointed that we likely won't see all the career splats out before Age of Rebellion.

It's possible they could, they still have 4 months, although it does seem like they only do an item a month.

F&D could conceivably have Obi and Yoda as the stand out characters and incorporate Vader, the Emperor and RotJ Luke in the Death Star 2 fight in the background art.
