I'm not looking for specifics, but I just wanted to now what else BTR can add to my game?
I read there's something new for Astrogation and a new gun. Anything else? GM Tips, equipment, systems?
Thanks in advance.

Well there is some ok info about The Wheel space station, or as I like to it, Space Vegas and Cholganna. Good stats on Imperial Rivals and stats for other enemy NPC Minions and Rivals. The YT-2400 Nightflyer stats. A good NPC Protocol droid, IT-3P0. Some good ides for Astrogation hiccups. A good starship combat encounter. Some really great creature stats: Nexu, Arboreal Octopus that only has seven legs...Cyber Nexu, and some annoying little green bugs...
Some good starship encounters and stats for the TIE, CR90 and IPV-1 Frigate.
I don't remember a new gun, but it does have cybernetics.
It has great info on running an Edge game, with a lot of useful tips for Advantages, Threats, and all that.
I think it was a pretty good buy to help introduce players and GMs to the new Edge system. My players are having an ok time with it. I wouldn't say they love it, and one mentioned it felt more like D&D because of the time spent going through the jungle. All in all, I have enjoyed it, but looking forward to the next published adventure. I think that will have more of the "Star Wars" feel to it. But again, not too bad as far as general information but nothing really as far a "sourcebook" full of new gear and gadgets.
Hope this helps a little.
Got this on order, remembered the Wheel from the Star Wars Legacy comic.
Caught a clip about an introduction to this adventure on you tube so understandably curious!
A frigate?
Been hoping for a version of the Imperial Customs Frigate might be wrong about that but was wondering if it had any maps especially deck plans for that ship in particular!
I look at BTR as a companion piece to ETU in a way. I think with both books together you can really get a good feel, GM wise, for how to run larger, exploration-based campaigns. Obviously BTR is an adventure, but I think it's also a seed planter. I'm in the middle of it right now and if certain things go down the way I think they will not only will the group return to Cholganna in the future but I see them wanting to break out of their canon-based comfort zones and do more exploration in general. This might take me out of the more light-railroad Star Warsy feel but if the group is eager for more sandbox-style, EU play then that's what I'll serve up.
The book has very few maps in it. One small map of the wheel hangar bay area and some maps of Cholganna, but nothing noteworthy or mini ready. No deck plans of any kind and not too many pictures of ships.
I didn't read the Legacy comics, but I remember the Wheel from the Marvel comics!!!
Edited by R2builderNow thats something I wasn't aware of!
Just received my copy looking forward to reading through it later tonight!
as far as maps for the book go, I REALLY like this one for The Wheel

Sure it's $7.50, but in my opinion worth every penny. I have 20 pages on Roll20 for The Wheel maps because of this awesome download. The characters will be interested in returning to The Wheel after they spend the 8 hours there that BTR includes.

Wow, those are excellent, thanks for the link! Some of the other ships in there are useful too, plus there is another, smaller, space station.
indeed, I bought the other space station too, and the Jo Lynn
its very Firefly-like
Thanks for the info on those maps! I bought a bundle on drivethrurpg.com with that and a huge ship. Since I'll be running BTR very soon, this is going to be awesome!
