Ragnar Confusion

By Ziephnir, in UFS Rules Q & A

well you can read his bio in another part of the site but.

first ability: pretty straight forward. im guessing your confused about the second one

second ability:

Desperation First F Commit, Discard 1 momentum: For the rest of this turn, your attacks get +2 damage for every attack preceding them in the card pool. Lose 2 vitality after each attack resolves.

desperation first F means its the first form you play on a turn where you half less than half health. each attack you play, when you play it/put it into the card pool, looks back before it in the cardpool and count the number of attack, multiplies by 2 and gets that much damage bonus.

since this is the only relatively confusing part about the card: after an attack resolves is after the damage calculation step and after the damage step, if you played a multiple ability, you lose 2 vitality after each one has gone through its damage step. so if your at 2 and you play and attack that becomes fatal to your opponent, then it will deal damage before you take the 2 vitality loss

Ok sorry for the delayed post. I had attempted to use my DSi to create the topic (didn't have access to the computer at the time), but that is as far as it would seem to go. Also the topic was supposed to read "Ragnar Support Confusion" because I did not know what the cards were at the time.

Ymirfang and Unstoppable Warrior both have abilities which end in the following text. "You may only play attacks for the rest of this turn."

This to me reads as you may only play Attacks as Forms and you may no longer play any E's or R's for the rest of this turn.

Am I reading this right or is this just worded poorly?

your reading it wrong and its missing the word cards after attack, should be interpreted as "you may only play attack cards for the rest of the turn". was ruled in another thread only a couple topics down

Actually, no I'm not missing any words. I am looking at the cards and it says Attacks, not attack cards which cards are you looking at. I'm not reading it wrong, I am reading it as is and not as the creator intended. It is just worded poorly.
