Hey everyone
Just wondering if anyone know of any online retailers that sell space themed gaming mats here in Canada?
I was looking to stores like gal force 9, but it seems that most of the stores I come across online are American and shipping costs more that the item itself
One site I was just looking at has a mat for 22 bucks but shipping to here is like 39 dollars
Was hoping someone may know of some Canadian retail versions of stores where I don't have to pay twice the price on shipping
Where in Canada are you? I picked one up at dragons den in Saskatoon, they had a few in stock
Yeah, I've seen them at the Den as well. I'd suggest you just take a look at some of your local game stores. If they don't have any you could just ask them if they might be willing to stock a few. I decided not to buy an official playmat, but instead went to WalMart. They actually had these 3x3 squares of fabric precut in one of the sections.

Almost every brick and mortar store will be more expensive then an online retailer. That doesn't mean you shouldn't support them.

depends a bit on the material you are looking for, if you are ok with something you get in online print shops (eg, PVC and the likes), the cheapest (and with the most choice) option is probably to get a nice big space image from NASA/ESA/Hubble sites and use it for printing.
in europe, I got a 3x3 for something like 15-18 EUR incl shipping.
