I was working on a 1/270 TIE Phantom and suddenly this happened (it is of course incomplete i wasnt going to bother finishing it unless enough people thought it made sense).

I looked around and couldnt find any images of it on the interweb but i could have just missed them.
Can anyone tell me if it has been done already. I would be surprised if it hadnt. It seems, and i could be wrong, that even without the stealth it could be the ultimate TIE attack craft. Maybe more so since i would asume the stealth system is very power intensive and not having one would allow more power to the rest of the ship systems.

Looks a bit like the description of the TIE "Clutch" in the novel I, Jedi but I think the one in the novel only had 3 wings.

Never seen that before although it does remind me of a cross between a Defender and the Phantom.

I suppose that is what t is *L* I had the Phantom wing set laid out and decided to duplicate and flip them for the hell of it. Not sure how i feel about it though

THAT. is a lot of solar collectors. Looks like a Defender without the struts(sure that is not the right term) er... the arms that hold the collectors to the ship.

They are there, just a bit shorter which is something i muight change if i decide to finish it, and with some more detail on a wider panel behind them

Please finish it. To be honest, I just like the look of it. Even if it wasn't used as a TIE of any kind, it looks pretty awesome. Heck, sit it on the end, and it could be a structure, Solar collector to power a group of turrets!

Funnily enough i have one of those already from when i was experimenting with making surface features
