Considering we haven't even gotten imp aces yet or are sure on when the rebel big ships will be out, I'd say that seems a touch wishful thinking.
Imp aces will be out soonish, and the big ships will be out this year. We may hear what the wave 4 ships will be by Q 3 but we may not see much more then that.
I know, a kill joy but I'm trying to be realistic for the masses.

I'm keen for rebel aces but who are they going to include? Wedge is the best and he is already out. Tiree?
I only know movie stuff and not up to speed with EU pilots.
We can wish and hope...and buy other models from other companies while we wait on FFG.
I have a strange feeling that if you want the big ships before the end of the year you are going to need to go to Gen Con. I have already made plans to send some money with one of my friends. (Can't go next year)
If IA is any indication, we won't be buying those big ships until sometimes middle of next year. Which makes me sad for what will likely be a year and a half wait for ISDs.
I'm thinking gencon will be the reveal of wave 4 and they should be ready for xmas (which means february 2015)
However, i will be disapointed if all we get this year is transport and aces.

I don't see anyone panicking, just people going off of FFGs track record of never putting these things out on time (usually missing the mark by about what? Three months?)

What!? But I've already preordered 4 copies of each ship. Whatever ships they are, that is.
Imp Aces is already 3 months late (announced Dec 21st, it will hit North America in early March), assuming no glitch in its distribution. The Big ships were announced in February iirc, but it wouldn't surprise me if they hit us by August or September due to their novelty and increased complexity.

Everybody remembers the release dates that slipped a month or two, but nobody has mentioned the fact that Wave 3 was announced on May 4th and delivered at GenCon, unexpectedly and somewhat ahead of schedule.

Late Q2 or early Q3 is my bet. But no, that's the best date available at the moment.
Exactly, I don't think anyone is overly being critical of the release schedule, it is what it is. I have no doubt they may give the info for the next X wing wave right around may, like they did last year. Hopefully they'd be out by end of the year, but I won't bet on it. It's not bother for me, just means my lists don't change much and I don't need to do much to keep up with the releases at the moment. and can focus on other purchases.
Would be nice if the releases moved a bit quicker, but the pace it is at now is good for those just getting in, as it gives them time to get in and catch up without feeling they are being flooded constantly in product.
