After viewing the incredibly professional demonstration video on YouTube for the Game of Thrones LCG, it's apalling to watch the Call of Cthulhu LCG demonstration video.
Are there any plans to give similar treatment to a new video for CoC LCG?

That's a good idea.
Really great of you to volunteer to create it, Buatha, that will be a TON of painstaking work.
Chick
Hey everyone!
Buatha's going to make a spiffy new cthulhu demo video! Let's all chime in and thank him. Way to go Buatha. Great idea, totally needed. Thanks!

Hahaha. I didn't mean to be offensive, but the GoT LCG video was just so well done that it sort of overshadows the CoC one. It was great showing the mechanics and provided clear examples of game situations.
Three cheers for Buatha!
Hip hip!.....
Seriously though, that is a nice little demo video even though it is a bit dry.
It almost made me want to try AGOT. I'd expect Cthulhu will get equal treatment.
Buatha, please let me clarify. Your idea was excellent. PJ and I were saying you're just the guy to do it.
Heck, we need to wake great old cannon from his slumber to ignite the Articles List with a spiff video and other needed incantations.
ia! The game is still the game.
Hey everyone,
Keith here from the FFG media department. We are in fact working on a real CoC LCG demo video at this very moment. (In the same style as the AGoT video we created back in Feb.) Unfortunately we don't have the budget for actors in black cowls and poorly lit studios like in the old video, so we'll have to rely on good ol' fashioned motion graphics for this new one.
Still working on the script this week, so we'll likely start production 1st thing next Monday. Stay tuned!

Awww, but most of your grade A actors were under your payroll already!!
I was really impressed with the quality of the demo video for AGoT....Great news all in all!

Hurrrrhmm?
I was just lamenting that we used to have this awesome other resource, the Articles List. It's still great; and I refer to it alot. I was hoping that perhaps it could be kicked up again. With what, I'm sure we could figure out.
Ah cool,
I hope the rules/voice over will be narrated by Ron Perlman.
Player one is Christopher Walken.
Player two is Samual Jackson.
That would rock!

And I was just making a sound like I had just woken up.

Excellent news! I can't wait to see it since I was very impressed with the AGoT video. I had no interest in a AGoT until that video...and I'd already bought the CoC LCG.
If it's not a secret, what software do you use to create a video like that?

That would be better than a regular Saturday night movie.
It's worth a few millions to put one together FFG!
Invest NOW!!!!
Oh, and the director for hire should definately be Quentin Tarantino....give it a fooled-ya-quasi-romantic gun-fu spin while you're at it!
Guest starring the Chuck for good measures. I mean should all else fail, somebody's gotta kick the end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it back into complacency.
This is indeed an amazing and unexpected development!
Not the video, I meant someone from FFG reading the Cthulhu board and posting something. Truly remarkable.

In case it shouldbe possible to help you, Cannon, the Cenacle would gladly work for you
.
Maybe we can propose some basic articles or something else to relaunch the list ? This was a huge amount of knowledge for Cthulhu CCG and I'd definetly love to help !

If anybody has new ideas for articles, that would be a great start. I can't promise I'll write them, because frankly my time is pretty divided as it is, but I'll be happy to post them and get some new life into that site.

dont know if this will work for an idea but maybe something about the plus/minus of changing from 4x to 3x and how it will effect coc or even card games in general. its something short that most card players have a good understanding of but could be real helpful for new players. maybe even talk about including 1x of cards in a deck and all that stuff.
Sweet! Three cheers for the Articles List! The resource that keeps on...resourcing. I know we'll come up with some good stuff. I'll submit some ideas shortly.
I'll think about it tonight and try to start an article this week, in cas you agree with my choice, Cannon. Glad to help !

It's Fun to quote yourself !!
SO, I gave this idea some times and Two Themes did occur my thoughts :
- The slighty changes that appeared on each faction's strategy between CCG period and the new aera of LCG.
- The new history pack : how it combines with the whole LCG's changes. Why is it different from the two others ?
