I decided to make a topic about for those who are recently new to the star wars lcg or veterans who are looking for players in the So-Cal area. Myself have just very recently got into this game and within two weeks got everything. 2 cores, 2 edge of darkness, all hoth cycle and balance of the force. I spend most of my time gaming at Game Empire in Pasadena but have meet up with people at a stores in Monclair as another half way point.
This past Wednesday the 29th, started our local league at Game Empire in Pasadena. The entry fee is $6 dollars with the money going to prize support. As of which prizes that are being offered, I do not know. However the person who is running is named "Tiny" some people know him and some don't. He and his group run a podcast on the internet called "The Smuggler's Den" a Star Wars LCG podcast taking about of course the game. The veterans kicked my butt and a buddy of mine with the decks we were running but that is fine because you learn so much from them.
Since I recently got into the game, I taught one of my friends who I game with at Game Empire in Pasadena. He loves the game too but does not have his own set yet, what he gets is my left over cards that I haven't built yet muhaha. He is a very cool guy though. He also plays Netrunner by FFG. I am planning to go to Game Empire in Pasadena tomorrow Saturday February 1st . I am going to try to get there in the time between 12-1 or even earlier because this weekend is going to be crowded because of the new MTG releases which starts at 4pm. The address is 1795 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA. Parking is in the back of the building! I am looking forward to playing against new people in the meta or if you want to learn I will gladly teach, it won't be the best teaching because I am new myself but will do my best.
