Tarn Mison and Hobbie Klivian, both have pilot abilities that appear to deal with target locks. Looks like Flech....Torpedo. Also a new R5 unit! Lots of cool things headed our way!

There are 3 new astromechs in this set. You can see in the top row of the upgrade cards the second card has the astromech symbol in the lower left corner, and 2 cards to the left reads R5 something. The image in the middle card looks like an x-wing hanger, so I'm guessing it also is a new astromech. I can't wait to see what these three cards do.

It's unfortunate that the points costs for all of the cards are covered. Regardless, it looks like Rebels are getting a lot of new stuff to work with. Awesome!

Considering how the ship works, doesn't seem to be much point in making more then one pilot.

Another thing to think about is the 7th card to the right on the top row is the card, shown in detail by FFG. Just for the sake of finding out what all the cards mean. Something else to think of is that Leia is a pilot card for the other large ship, does that mean that that ship will get pilot cards? Or will Leia be the only option (which seems unlikely but we have to think of every possibility). Just a few things to think about.

Well, the article states there's 24 upgrade cards (and so does the photo in it shows), so the picture in the first post is somewhat incomplete (yeah, i know it comes from the previously spoiled material ).

Actually, the news from the Polish publisher, Galakta, practically confirmed that the pack comes with both Dodonna AND Rieekan. And wasn't Leia supposed to be in a Corvette expansion?

Still, Jek getting an APT while Hobbie's not seems strange to me. And I hope that Tarn Mison has some fun ability, with PS so low he can possibly fit nicely in 4-ship build

That seems to fit a little bit into a trend that seems to be part of the Imp Aces.

Lorrir and Kir Kanos seem like they 'sacrificed' the EPT slot for the ability the pilot gets. Might see that with some of these X-Wing Pilots. Kinda like Gavin and Biggs.

The pilot of a Transport is pretty much just responsible for pointing it the direction they want to go, the crew are the ones doing the interesting things. So that's why it makes sense to me.

Well they need to have different pilots so they can have the ship have different costs and ps ratings, like any other ship.

And I would argue that the pilot cards probably represent the captain more than they do the navigator, so he's the one TELLING the crew what to do.

But there doesn't seem to be any other pilot cards with it. So maybe the intention is that you start with a generic transport and build up from there. Lots of addons and such to allow you to change the transport, much like the pilots do for a generic X-Wing or Tie Interceptor.

Guess it'll depend on if that picture is showing us everything in the set or not. I'm sure we'll get teased with more previews like they seem to do with different releases.

My guess is that the titles will play a large part in customising the transport. I wonder if Dodonna and Riekan are a special commander class of crew for only these capital ships as well. So that will be, what, 4 possible combinations with those 4 cards?

Looking at Wookiepedia, that new torpedo could be the Electron Torpedo . . . But that would be an incredibly obscure bit of Star Wars if it is (it was mentioned only once, in an episode of Star Wars: Droids).
