A massive Rebel force was spotted near Kessel. Obviously to 'liberate' Imperial workers and hamper the Imperial war effort by slowing spice production. We are sending an equally massive force to stamp out the Rebellion, consisting of both Obsidian and 181st Squadron elements. Kessel is an asteroid field, so we will need pilots able to navigate the asteroids without too much trouble.

(On another note, we didn't play with point costs, we just wanted to play. And since this was a themed fight, I kept the units close to their movie counterparts. Like Lando, Nien Nunb and Concussion Missiles on the YT-1300.)

HOW THE BATTLE ENDED:

It is this commander's duty to report that after 16 hours (turns) of fighting, the Rebels were not able to repel the Imperial counterattack at Kessel, causing the loss of the 181st fighters, and the loss of 2 Obsidian Squadron fighters. Howlrunner barely made it back to the operating base herself. She will be spending several months in a bacta tank until she recovers. On a more personal note, she is going to be livid when she gets out.

The Rebellion's losses were much more severe, losing their entire force, thereby weakening the Rebellion as a whole. The Emperor, if he were still alive, would be rather displeased that the costs were so high. But even he himself was killed at Endor when he had the might of the Imperial fleet behind him.
