I understand swarm lists could be very effective... but I'm just suck at formation flying. I currently have 5 ties, 1 tie/adv, 1 tie/int and 1 firespray. Do you think it's enough to put up a good build against HSF?

In fact HSF is best against elite Imperial lists or lose formations.
If you suck at flying formations, then the best thing to do is not create the perfect list, but (surprise, surprise) practicing flying in formation.
It's really not that hard once you get a feel for how to place your ships, and it can help you defeat other lists because flying in formation is probably the most important maneuvering skill you can have.
If I were you, I'd look up videos on Youtube covering formation flying, then practice, practice, practice. I practice flying in formation all the time, trying new formations and seeing which ones work best for me. This will do nothing but help your game, so get out those minis and try it out for yourself.

What he said. Formation flying imperial ships is one of the most effective and rewarding aspects of X wing, imo. Though, you do become more predictable...
Also, mass 2 Attack ships chew up 1 Agility.
Beyond that, I'm not sure. I'd probably run:
Bounty Hunter + Heavy Laser Cannon
Academy Ties x 5
100pts.
Rush those academies in, clog up the Falcon's paths, take Range 3 shots with the Bounty Hunter, watch his health dwindle. Don't need to formation fly as much without howlrunner I suppose.
