My impulse shopping bug just took control and forced me to (pre)order 2 Imperial Aces packs from MiniatureMarket . I normally don't pre-order anything, ever, but I was surveying my Imperial force pool and considered buying a like amount of TIE-Interceptors to to fill out my ranks and thought, "Perfect excuse to place Aces pre-order".... Guilty as charged...

What are most of your thoughts and feeling about pre-ordering, and not just for this game, like anything in general?

Usually, I just wait until something becomes available...

It gets it into my hand faster, and guarantees they'll actually have it. I preorder pretty much anything I'm excited for. the only reason I haven't ordered my aces yet is lack of funds.

I have preordered everything starting with wave 2, which turned out to be a fantastic idea as many people who did not were unable to get some of the ships for a quite a while. Although it definitely seems like supply is not a huge problem anymore, it's still nice to just get the ships at my door soon after they are available.

It depends on my passion for the item. Sometimes I preorder, sometimes I don't. I do like knowing, when I preorder, that I'm going to be one of the first ones to have that item.

I generally don't pre-order FFG stuff. Not because I don't like to pre-order, but because FFG almost never releases things on time. I feel like when I make a pre-order I am entering into a contract with the seller. He/she get's my money and I get what I paid for on or before a give date, the release date. I just hate preordering things and then finding out that the product's release date has been pushed back.

I know I am being irrational, and I don't get things any sooner if I wait for it to hit the shelves at my LGS. It is sort of like the kid who thinks he is going to fail the math test so he doesn't study.

i have pre ordered the "Aces" but not the transport and CR-90 as they just seem too much like the "Starfield tiles" fiasco..lol once the Transport and CR 90 actually get firmed up reality wise i will pre-order them... i mean they don't even show up Official release section on here... on an unrelated note i think my wife pre ordered aces for me as well... Bonus!!

Same. I thought about pre-ordering the big ships, but those don't have any certainty or time table.

I usually pre-order after getting a fair amount of information on something. If there isn't any information, i dont pre-order...

I like getting things as soon as they are available

I normally don't pre-order, I do it this time because I believe that this is a special expansion, and so will be in limited quantity. Kinda like the 1st wave expansion's rarity until its reprint.
