No. They are a single difficulty. Have a look at the support page for LoTR there is a PDF that lists all the changes in "Easy Mode", I agree "Thematic Mode" is a better name.. but this could be why your not finding the document.

I think he's talking about the back of the saga expansions' rule books where they have deck lists for very thematic decks to play the quests with.
