To clarify the little plastic piece that connects to the base came off of my falcon. I glued it back on and painted my ship. I went to put it on the base and somehow it is now almost sideways on the base. I am kind of nervous about removing the plastic piece and turning it. is it going to be legal or do I need to fix this somehow?
Falcon is crooked after a quick fix is it still legal to play
Should be fine. The direction the ship faces isn't really important rules wise, the base is the only thing that really counts.
It wouldn't be illegal, but it will probably be confusing for you and others in the long run. I agree with you that I would be really nervous trying to correct it. I know myself and it would drive me batty so I would try to fix it. And probably screw things up even more.
Resist the urge as long as you can (if possible). ![]()
Pop it off and get a couple 1/4 inch magnets.. a hobby shop or art store should have them.. just make sure to clean and clear the area and try to get it straight.. I did it with one of my YTs and it looks great.
Or just send a pic in to customer service and file a thing explaining the peg fell out and won't reattach properly. I would be stunned if they didn't replace it for you,
thanks guys much appreciated for all the info
