Hi, I've been following these forums for a couple of months but never joined as I didn't feel the need to post. However I saw your handiwork and had to set up an account to say how amazing they look. They really look exactly as they do on the character cards and you've maintained all of the small details of each mini. Very well done on a great painting job.

Which one did you enjoy painting most?

I think I was pleased how the Elf came out - there's a fair bit of intricacy and detail in his tunic that was challenging and rewarding to do. The Troll was fun to do as well - green flesh just highlights up a lot better than puny man-flesh.

Nice work, I wish I could paint my figures as well. A friend of mine has started to paint them, though, and he's amazing. He promised he could teach me as well, but we'll have to see about that. One can only hope.

I would add some pictures but I don't have them on the web. Is there another way to post images than linking them from another page?

My friend is making some slow progress with the painting and now I've 5 finished miniatures and one more on the way. I'm not in any hurry though, I'm just happy he's doing it. Perhaps it's the free whiskey I'm offering him when he comes over...

Sorry about the size of the images - I don't know how to make them smaller. If you want individual pictures I can add that later. Edit: hmm... they looked a lot bigger when writing the post...

I'm glad you posted large pics! The detail is great, especially since your friend may be a little under the influence while painting.
