Here is my problem: I have all the x-wings I want for my "perfect" squad... but they were acquired through starter sets, so I am missing Wedge's pilot card. In fact I was thinking about that and wonder what anyone would need with more than one of the unique pilot cards you get with the expansion packs... so, if someone has an extra Wedge card, I am interested in getting rid of that for you

Strangely I don't have a spare of that one, I ended up buying 3 starter sets + 1 booster as that was far better value than multiple boosters, I think a lot of people might have done the same.

That all depends on when you bought stuff.

When I was building my collection core sets were $25-30 most places even online. X-Wings were $10 and Tie Fighters were $9.

So $28 for 3 expansions vs $25-30 for a core set. Still a little cheaper to get the core set, but not a huge savings. The extra templates, dice, ect... I didn't need, already had 2 cores. Plus it gave me a few extra cards that I can let someone else use.

Even today, on Miniature Market, the X's and Ties are $10 and the core set is $27, 3 bucks is not a huge savings. Now if you can pick up a core for $12 at target, that's something different.
