I have yet to take an Y wing without a turret, so I made one.

You can use the falcons quad laser under the ship, you wont really notice it missing. The quad laser is actually made of 2 parts and you can carefully split them with a knife following the lines.

Then just get a bit of putty on the Y-wing and add the turret.

Pretty cool!

My bottom guns fell off in storing. Was going to remount them, but maybe I will just refit them to the ywing

I got my first Y-wing yesterday and I was a little disappointed there wasn't a good turret on it. It seems the sculpting has improved with every wave (hugely impressed with the Bomber especially).

I have a new YT for doing a repaint and possible conversion.. might use the bottom guns for a conversion on the Y wings... I got 4 I can play with.. lol

Nice idea.. more pictures when you get further along.. this one is hard to see but looks pretty cool.
