I hope mm can replace this. Its really bad business in my opinion to mail out a a damaged book, cause the way it was packaged was well done so it could not have happened when it was shipped.

Just got my suns book

but was damaged

I've gotten a damaged item from Miniature Market once or twice in the past, and I've never had any problems with them sending me a replacement. Be sure to let us know what happens.
My own copy of Suns of Fortune has either an issue with the binding or warped pages. I can't get the cover to lay flat because the pages all collectively bend up at the corners. Pressing down on the pages causes them to "pop" up in other parts of the page. I think it's a publishing issue, so at the moment I'm in the process of seeing if FFG will replace it.

So failure and despair would be "Your FLGS wont get the book in until next week, and all you do is get to watch people post about how awesome it is?"

At least you had a few Advantages so some nice people offered some juicy spoilers.

That's about it for me!
(And if anyone wants to spoil the Corellion Longcoat for me, my players are looking forward to getting their 'flasher macs' as we call them in the UK...)
Is it sad that I look around me in my personal life to interpret ways of having Triumphs, Despairs, Advantage and Threats?

Well, it means you're looking for the sunny side of things and have goals.....that's good I suppose.............in a nerdish way.....
I was a geek girl long before it was trendy to be so, 2P51!
And I'm always trying to think of ways to interpret the narrative dice - I'm reasonably good at it but some of my players have issues with it. Trying to think of real-world examples of things going both right and wrong at the same time helps in this.
Well there you go, sharpening your dice skills in the real world. Typically RPGs are viewed as a way to sharpen critical thinking and problem solving in the real world, you've just sorta flipped it around......
For the record I'm a long time old school nerd also...........comicon #10 comin up, I think...10 sounds right.....nerd memory is slippin....
To save on shipping, I have to wait till damgerous covenants comes in to have mine delivered (along with pandemic on the brink)
I found a copy yesterday but it would not shut completely. The pages were bent and would not turn right because of it. It was 25% off because of a sale.
But I decided to wait and pick it up from my FLGS at full price for two reasons.
1) I like supporting them because they are truly a wonderful business. One of the best in the area and my inspiration for opening my own in my hometown 5ish years from now.
2) I'd rather have an undamaged copy. ![]()
