Less is more: tokens

By PS10, in X-Wing

FFG always has a lot of tokens in their games and after games these tokens either land in someone else his token bag or just get lost. Also in a game its just an extra thing lying around.

So, I used transfers for my ship numbers.

You just need some transfers with numbers or symbols, some GW ard' coat (or simmilar) and a can of hobby varnish.

First put some ard coat on the place were you want your transfer, then add the transfer and then add a small layer of ard' coat again.

Wait until it is dry then spray with varnish, now after it dries it will look like your number on the card was always there. In addition, it also saves you the trouble of all those extra ship tokens.

I really like this idea! Very simple and looks great.

You really like A-Wings...

You really like A-Wings...

Well they are very sexy looking models... :P

On topic, this might be even more useful for imperial players who play swarms.

that is a good idea.. and if you can write good or are just lazy you can use a sharpie!! but the decals do look good.

Very good idea, looks good and cuts down on the space needed for carring around tokens.

also if you use unique decals you have a way to ID your own stuff as well..
