I have 1 card in my hand, and 2 cards in my momentum. my opponent has 2 cards in hand and 1 card in his momentum. I use God of Metal.

You each get three cards in hand, and then the effect fizzles because your opponent failed to fulfill the first part of the effet.

so if my opponent does not have any momentum at the time i play the ability, then i get to add 2 cards from my momentum to my hand and then the effect is done?
