Ive recently gotten into this game so still newbie status but now im currently on TDY to Keesler AFB for approx 2 months, so if theres anyone nearby that would like to game a bit hit me up!!

Hello. I live about an hour and a half from Biloxi. We have a group that plays in Mobile, AL @ Gamers N Geeks. In fact I'm running a 100pt tournament there on Feb 1 @ 2:00pm. Your more then welcome to play or hang out.

I also think there might be a gaming store in Gautier, MS that is looking to run X-wing stuff. I will see if I can find the name of the store because I heard another player talking about it.

The store in Gautier is called MaCNarb's. They are still trying to build a player base. There was supposed to be a game tonight but I was the only one there lol.

Thanks for the store name. Are they running any game nights or a Store tournament? I still can't find a store in the area that has the FFG store tournament.

It is hard to get a player base started. I have had the game since it came out, and it took me months to get a player base going. It really helps to have games going on when there are a lot of people in the store. We range from about 6-14 players for a tournament, unless it is the holidays.

You should come to the tournament Sat. It is only $5 to play, and we use the fees to buy ships from the store for prizes. I will be at the store between 1-1:30.

MaCNarb's is trying to get a group going their first tourney was on a night when we had ice patches on the roads so no one showered up.

Let me know when they are planning on having another tournament. If it is on a Sat I might be able to get a few people to make the trip from Mobile.

Weather and events can play a big part in tournament numbers. We tried to have a tournament the same day as the Iron Bowl and 2 people showed up. We will not make that mistake again.
