Note, this is all based on expected damage. The real proper way would be to say the ship is 50% likely to be dead after ___ attacks. But I don't have my stuff set up that way since I don't really care about that too much.

Yep Vader can take shots like a boss. The issue comes with whether he can tank. A model can only really tank if the enemy wants to target the tanking model, in MMORPGs they do this by giving the model taunt abilities that move it up the agro table. I think Vader can more or less do this, because he can do OK damage, but even then I doubt he will be my first priority.

This is why I rate Squad Leader on him, it makes him a much higher priority. The enemy either goes after him, or he's making your hard hitters do more damage and he can do some damage with his 2 Attacks. Either way your winning as he's either tanking damage, or supporting your ships.

Anyone else whose curious, based on the numbers provided the attacks required to kill the super evasive stuff one shot at a time from a focus 3 attack...

Tie Interceptor (w/PTL): 16.67

As pointed out, the real number of turns would be to figure out when it becomes 50% likely to be dead but I find these number helpful.
