Boomerang clarification

By bigObob, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

The act II shop cards in LoR come with a Boomerang. On the card it states that if any damage is dealt with an attack you must unequipped this weapon. Does that mean I have to wait until the next turn to use it again or is it only a one use weapon? As I ask this question it seems dumb that is would only be a one use weapon, considering I don't think any of the other shop weapons are one use...

Thoughts on the boomerang?

Pretty sure it just means its unequipped and that you'll have to re-equip it next turn to use it again. So only one successful hit per turn.

Given all the Yellow/Green power dice and the +2 Range on a surge, you get a lot of range out of this weapon. The Weaken status (that normally monsters can't remove) is an added bonus. Sure the damage isn't anything huge compared to other Act 2 weapons, but it definitely has its place.

Yeah, "unequip" just means its out of your hands. Your hero still has it can re-equip it next turn.

If it were meant to be one use it would say something like "discard after dealing damage."

I remember buying this and selling my Treasure Hunters original weapon, which left me with 1 attack per turn! I was unlucky with the shopping deck, so I never ended up getting another weapon

It does do great damage though and works really with Logan as a TH

Yeah, as long as you keep your distance you should be fine.
