I wonder why there not even in the upcoming section yet. does this mean they will be delayed?
No Tantive IV or Rebel Transport in the Upcoming section?
If I knew what was going on at FFG... well, I guess I'd know what was going on at FFG. For now, my Magic 8-Ball remains ominously silent on the matter.
Also, just because you asked, it's going to be delayed by 6 months.
Edited by WonderWAAAGHi knew they were saving it for Gencon =P
In order for it to be delayed it would need to have had at least a ballpark release date to begin with. All we ever had was "We plan on releasing these, here are some things we plan for them, it'll be awesome we promise." No word on a timeframe from what I recall.
i thought at gencon they said Q1 2014

Ah, my bad. I'm losing the little grey cells it seems.
"Shipping early 2014" could conceivably be up to June 30 ![]()
that is true. dumb of me to interrupt early as Q1
Chances are we'll see them around april-may for the transport, and gencon for the Tantiv IV.. just my thoughts
Edited by onewayAmazon over here says 22nd of Feb.

They did say that they did this as a special deal to be released between waves three and four, so we are going to get them before wave four.

Anybody know when wave four is coming out?

Hopefully all of these will be released before the starfield tiles.
I've heard people cite Amazon release date several times an I feel it is important to reiterate that the Amazon release date is not reliable. It is triggered by third parties putting up the product for release at that time. That is NOT an official release date and FFG does not have any control over that date, nor have they ever announced that would be the release date. Further that page indicates that 'Takes between 1 and 3 months for fulfillment' near that top. That is the seller that selected the date hedging their bets. That's basically saying that it could ship anywhere between that date and May 22nd. May 22nd will be the day that Amazon starts considering the shipment late.
Please, keep this in mind when you are making your plans and don't hold FFG responsible for when that day inevitably comes with no shipment notification.

Yeah, George RR Martin's Feast for Crows in the Song of Fire and Ice series missed the Amazon date by 3 years. ![]()
The January issue of Game Trade Magazine (from Alliance Game Distributors), which had the cool article on the capital ships, says both are shipping in Feb 2014.

BTW I hope i'm wrong
Take the expected release date, add three months and you get the real release date for most FFG products.
Going by that, I expect these capital ships will be released in May.

It says "scheduled to ship." That's a fairly big distinction, I think.
So we know two things: 1) they were aiming for at latest the first half of 2014, 2) it's FFG. So... Christmas 2014?
