Donovan, the modular encounters were built with transplanting in mind. The same checks used in Conical Six Summit, for example, can just as easily represent a balanced set of checks to determine a long and difficult climb up a Coruscant construction yard, or a Kashyyyk Wroshyyr tree just by changing the set dressing a bit. Alternately, the Corellian Shuffle was built to be something like the Kessel Run, a sort of repeatable adventure your party might want to do a number of times, and I provided some guidance for mixing up the encounters to keep it feeling fresh upon repeat runs.
2P, glad to hear you are excited about Centerpoint. I recently put an article up at starwars.com on the official blog that goes into both the ancient history and future after the Empire for Centerpoint Station (era information that isn't really touched on in Suns of Fortune). Its an era supplement of sorts. You might want to check it out.
Any sign of Suns of Fortune yet?
Finally available on Amazon Prime. I just pulled the trigger. Only 3 left in stock, get them while they're hot!
I got mine today, told my players about the Dueling Pistol and my Smuggler wants a brace of them across his chest a la Assassin's Creed 4.
The weapons list did get me thinking though, what happens if you are wielding, say, a dueling pistol (accurate 1) and a regular blaster pistol, and want your primary shot to be with the dueling pistol because it's stronger? Can you take advantage of accurate? What about the pistol in here with Inferior 1? If you dual-wield that with a regular pistol and use the regular blaster as the primary, do you still generate an automatic threat?
I used the Sludge Panthers against my players last night. Man, I LOVE the beasties in this book.

My gut tells me you can't use Accurate as when dual wielding weapons that use different skills you're supposed to take the harder check of the two weapons, so I'd extend this to weapons that use the same skill, and say that you use the weapon that has the fewest positive or the most negative impact on the check when rolling. Tenuous reasoning, for sure, but it's how I'd do it.

Reading through the rules for two-weapon fighting, I actually think you ca. The first step, before choosing targets or anything, is determining which of the two weapons is going to be the primary weapon that you actually roll to attack with. Also picking the more difficult shot only applies to base difficulty (number of purples), not boosts, setbacks, or any other quality.
I think they mention it for playing a sport on Nubia. I'm afb right now so I can't check.
Checking it now, and it appears that the Nubian entry only refers to special boots in order to play Grav Ball. No mention of special belts.
Maybe they're really strict about accessorising.
Maelora, remind me to ask you why you hate Kevin Smith the next time ErikB starts a thread.
ErikB's a name that's come up from time to time and he's usually painted as a controversial forum member, but I've looked over a handful of his posts (not enough to form a well-rounded opinion, just a random sample) and I've read nothing too inflammatory. Do people have a genuine feud with him or is it playful baiting?

I simply have him ignored. That way I can still read his more lucid posts if I wish to. He has a certain point of view that he has on occasion been very strident, and repetitive, about conveying. Recently he hasn't been bad, and he has never been foul. That said, his posts grated me enough for me to block him, and I rarely do that.
Understood. Good to hear.
Recently he hasn't been bad, and he has never been foul.
Well I have him on ignore as well but I just looked and saw he hasn't posted anything on these boards for ages.
However, I disagree with the statement that he has never been foul. He has been really foul in the past going so far as calling people nazi lovers and constantely invoking real life tragedy to beat a horse that was long dead even before I first visited these boards.
Okay... On a more positive note! I've got it!
I was in a different town then my own, googled gamestore and ended up in one of the nicest FLGS.

Space Weasels hit Cardiff today!
YIPPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They're awesome.
One of my regular players is bringing his girlfriend to the game and trying to encourage her to play. I rolled 4 pregens for her to choose from. 2 of them are Selonians. I hope to see them in action this Saturday. That tail attack sounds awesome.
I find the Drall far more interesting than the Seloninians, but to each their own.
I thought we'd agreed:
weasels > hamsters ![]()
But yes, I'm enjoying it so far. Amazed the hamsters get Int 4! Wow.
Might do a full review this week.

Perhaps this thread should have been called 'Signs of Fortune'.
Times like this...PDF would be good.
