I'm saddened to hear about the lack of art (or at least pointing out which ship is which when there is art).

I'm also surprised we didn't get the correllian gunship. Is it in a book already? I'm away from book(s) at the moment.

All of the (X)-Type vehicles are Nubian, so share the design aesthetics of the ships that Amidala used in the prequels. There is a picture of one elsewhere in the book, but it doesn't say what model it is.

I found a hidden gem in the Drall (the planet) section. One of the NPCs has a light blaster carbine that is a one-handed Ranged (Heavy) weapon. Damage is 8, Critical 3, Medium Range, Stun Setting. Unfortunately, since it's in an NPC stat block, there's no listing for Enc, HP, Cost, or Rarity.

Very cool. Dual wielding time although the rules were fuzzy enough to probably allow it anyway.

There are actually quite a few beast stat blocks for several of the included planets...Sand Panther's included. Carrion Spat, Murra, Spukami, and Wrix are other beasts native to Corellia propper. Not many accompanying pictures of said beasties though. Not being familiar with EU stuff, I hope we can find imagery on line somewhere...

For some reason that seems to be common amongst the FFG Star Wars books. Not enough illustrations when it counts of equipment, ships, and beasties. Thank god for wookieepedia, but I wish I didn't have to look there after viewing a sourcebook.

I think this is something they could improve on.

I should have ordered from MM yesterday...I was sure it would have been prime by now. Looks like I won't get it now until mid-week at the earliest. No local shop has it and the warstore didnt get any in...noble knight still doesn't have it listed. Maybe Monday I can order it.

I know it's probably beyond the scope of the Edge of the Empire line, but does the book contain any information about the military forces in the sector? Like the Imperial Corellian Sector Group, the Rebel Corellian Sector Forces or the Corellian Defense Force?

Probably not. Most of the stats are in EtU. Now a book about all ships, with stats, pics, new attachments, and guidelines on custom vehicles.

I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I would also buy a book all about ships. Especially if it included things like the cost to keep a ship operating, more options/ideas for running cargo and smuggling, Pirates, etc.

I'd also like to get my hands on a generic vehicles book, and a book of just random NPCs. Basically this game needs all kinds of stats from all over the map.

I picked up a copy of Suns of Fortune today at one of the local game stores. They got it in during lunch, and I picked it off their new arrival cart before it hit the shelves. Woot!

Picked mine up today, LOTS of info and ofcourse a great looking book. I still dont like the human variant and would of preferred an actual NEW race.

All in all the best expansion book to date.

Aww I was really, really hoping for the CC-7700, and CC-9600 class Frigates or some of the unnamed Corellian Frigate models. Nice to see the Assassin, the PPB, and the other fighters though. I just wish tere were more frigates included in the RPG stats.

Other correllian ships I'm disappointed in not having:

HWK-290

G9 Rigger

Yeah at least with the frigates there's the hope they will be included in Age of Rebellion or one of its expansions. Not so much with the HWK-290 and G9. They might be included if FFG ever does any Clone Wars era expansions though since if memory serves both models were common in that era.

I'm sure we'll get a HWK-290 at some point.

Sadly there was art in the CRB for the HWK but no statblocks. Although they had lots of art for species that haven't received stat blocks yet, so I'm not too concerned.

I didn't find anything on this in my skim through the book. My detailed read through is about halfway done and still nothing.

If a seller from anywhere in the universe would list Suns of Fortune on amazon prime...it's like the only thing you can't buy on amazon prime.
