Where can I find the rules?
Because some people here wants to choose the deck and I think that is random or not?

up to scout's discretion i believe.
I have heard of prereleases being "random" and although i would personally prefer that....there are some people who play this game for game X or game Y and when they are forced to play with a character from game Z it causes a loss of interest.
If you are a giant SC fan, and you are forced to play with a shadowar character you don't care about...
IMO random = more "fair"
choose = wider appeal
People aren't going to want to shell out $20 for a starter they dont want...unless they are diehards
I just love to play...I don't give a S"ยท if is SW or SC.
But yo're right...some people here love SC, but to me is unfair play with SW because I saw SC stuff and is better than SW...Nightmare is stupid.
We're doing our pre-release on two days to combat this... one day SW one day SCIV
As a scout I have always done the pre-releases with starters randomly. I give out the boosters to each person, then dump all the decks into a bag and reach in without looking and toss each person a deck. I also treat each release as its own set, so Shadowar was one pre-release and Soul Calibur IV was one pre-release.
Another method I have used in the past is have all the players roll off, highest roll gets first pick of starters then so on down the line.
I perfer the random method and I let everyone know before the tournament starts that I will be doing it that way. So far no one has really had a problem with this, but for the most part, my players are not too picky about Licenses.
