Well, tried myself out a torny list last week-100 pts a side. I took rebels,my opponent imperials.

imperials were an 8 ship build 7 ties and a character although the name escapes me.

Set up with x wings at front with the 2 hwk's just behind in a square formation. My opponent set up central and split off into two groups with some fancy flying. The first shots of the game were from one of my rookie pilots, enemy ship was at range 3 and behind an asteroid so i took the shot, think i may have had a focus on him, anyhow i rolled 2hits 1 crit, he rolled his 5 evade dice and ALL came up blank. The rest of the game followed the same pattern, every hit dice i rolled(including using target locks etc) hit and every evade dice he rolled came up blank or focus but mostly he applied evades to his ships. After 3 rounds of shooting he finnaly conceded, he had lost 4 ships with another 2 damaged, i had lost one shield on one of my hwk's. Dont know what the probability is of all my dice hitting and all his evade dice failing but i imagine its not a common occurance, just hope i have the same luck in my next torny. I had a second game straight after and the dice luck changed although i scraped a slight win on points.Has anyone else had wierd dice experience?

The force is (was) strong with this one.

Just the way dice roll sometimes.. I usually have good night's with dice, but the statistics guys will tell you all sorts of stuff about dice and comment that maybe you got wonky dice.. In a game to game situation, I feel statistics don't apply.. and have seen none that change my mind about that either.

Beware of when the sprits of dice karma decide to pay you back for THAT game.

Yeah, some games you win or lose to luck. Most games are decided by skill. Glad you had fun and thank you for sharing your battle report. We need to have more of these.
