You realize that this is neither a servitor nor a heavy augmented human.

Whatever this is, it seems to be completely artificial, but still has biological components that are very similar to human.

As you take a closer look on the dead body, you also can see that some kind of mechanism was triggered by its death.

You get to the breach in the wall, realizing that it leads into a room that also could be entered through a door a few meters ahead.

The room itself is huge and is kind of a laboratory. There are a lot of tables and chemical machinations that you do not really understand. In one corner, there is a small cell, where one person is sitting. Otherwise, there is no other person in the room.

Your i pression is, that this room has been left just a few minutes before, with the ones who left it in a hurry.

With the end to immediate danger Dral sigh's in relief. "Almost looks like a tech priest" Dral says as he moves forward to peer over Cade's shoulder at the machinemam.

"What's that mechanism that has activated?"

Nervously Dral starts to back away and addresses Seito "is that something to be worried about?"

Cade checks to see if the mechanism activated might have been an explosive device of some kind-- a last resort plan to prevent anyone who defeated this..... abomination from telling about it.

Erwin alsmost lost the figure out of his sight, until he finally stumbles over it. As you turn around and look at it, you can see that it is in a frozen state of shock and non-moving.

Erwin is a bit unnerved when he sees the damage that has been inflicted on the victim. He checks the body on life signs and yells over his shoulder: "Missus Seito! There is one fragger here who could benefit from your care!" "Although it won't be pleasant" he mumbles to himself.

If Seito doesn't come towards him (because she's busy with her examination of the servitor), Erwin grabs the arbitrator by his uniform and starts dragging him towards the group.

As you drag him he feels stiff and lifeless.

As soon as Seito joins him in the laboratorium, Erwin says: "I'm not quite sure if the fragger is still alive. But if anyone can get him back up, it's you".

Erwin then leaves the room and runs down the corridor away from the body of the servitor. "Let's go! Let's not give these traitors the chance to ambush us again!" As he comes to the door at the end of the hall, Erwin starts examining it, looking for a way to open it. 'This better not be another machine port. We can't split Seito in half.'

Unable to discern anything further about the defeated foe, Cade rises up to go and join with the rest of the group, keeping up with Erwin at the front of the group. "It seems we have a problem." He mutters under his breath, checking to see if there's an alternate method of either getting through the door, or around it.

"**** and blast!" Erwin mutters. "Sarge, do you see a way around this door? The more time we give the fraggers, the more likely it will be that they'll ambush us yet again!"

The patient now finally dies.

The machinemen triggered some kind of technical device that you dont know at all. It seems to activate something with a frequency.

Seito makes her way to the door and quickly plugs in a mechadendrite to manipulate its mechanisms and get it open so her team can do what they do best - kill bad guys.

Dral moves with Cade into the room and notices nothing but Asterius' body. Although Dral was no priest he was brought up by the imperial orphanages so had some rudimentary schooling in the creed. Standing over the body Dral makes the sign of the aquilar and says a short prayer "may the god-emperor guide your soul and may he not find you wanting".

As Seito opens the door, Erwin gently moves Seito to the side and steps through the doorway, scanning the stairwell for boobytraps. As he notices that the other acolytes are standing around Asterius' body, he says, more gently than you're used to: "Come on, let's go. There'll be time to mourn your dead later." Not waiting their response, he gives a soft nod to Seito, indicating to follow him and he starts moving up the stairs.
