If you use Expert Handling, and you already have the barrel roll in your action bar, can you take another action? I can see interpreting the text two different ways.
Expert Handling question
Er.. can't see how you interpreted it that you get an extra Action... It's an Action so takes your Action for the round.
Well it says that the barrel roll is a free action. But it also says "Action:" before that. But I'm not totally sure that means it's an action, it could just mean that it happens during the action step. Because why would they tell you to take an action to take a free action when they could just write: "Action: perform a barrel roll action."
Edited by That One GuyI am pretty sure you can only use it in your " perform action" step. Any card that says (action) in the header means this unless I am wrong.
I guess with Vader you could double roll right?

Yes i know, but what i'm trying to figure out is whether or not you could take another action afterwards. It seems a bit OP but I'm not about to let that get in the way of my wishful thinking...

You cannot perform the same action more than once in a turn, regardless of the source. Since the Expert Handling Action involves taking a free Barrel Roll Action, you could not Barrel Roll again that turn in any way.
However, Daredevil is NOT a Boost Action, so you could Boost and then Daredevil.
If Expert handling makes you perform a barrel roll nope, as it would count as your barrel roll for the turn.
Think of it as an action, so it can be used any time you could perform an action (eg from Lando performing a green maneuver next to it). When you use it it does two things it allows you to perform a free barrel roll ( counts as your barrel roll for a turn) and removes a Target Lock.

No.
You cannot perform one action twice per turn. Expert handling includes a free barrel roll action . You cannot perform another barrel roll action in the same round.
Note: The FAQ includes an errata for expert handling which adds the word "action".

Ok clear on that then.

You could not, since the "Action" you are declaring is Expert Handling. This is your 1 Action in the Perform Action Step (unless you're using Advanced Sensors or the like). As part of resolving that action, you just happen to perform a free Barrel Roll Action.
Now if a card came out with the header "Free Action:"...

Ok that is what I thought but I was kinda hoping you could perform two actions.
A free action just means that it isn't a normal action, not necessarily an additional one.

Lando limits your other ship to performing "1 free action shown in its action bar ," so in this case Expert Handling would be useless unless that ship already has barrel roll.
