New player as of Christmas. Thank you to my wife for the starter set.

I have enjoyed everything about the game (and most other FFG I have tried or demoed) and even convinced my nephew to buy in after a play session.

Been reading thru the forums and checking the X Wing main page and found it shocking that there is no upcoming release notice for the capital ships on the main page for X-wing. Was it so far in the past that I missed it? I seem to remember seeing the Rebel transport model displayed at Gen Con but I had forgotten about until I saw the news post about here in forums. Seems like a major splash on the FFG website would be great for the release.

The Capital ships were announced and shown much, much earlier than most products FFG does outside a game announcement. They tend to announce and put the products on their upcoming page roughly 3 months before intended release. At the moment, I'm guessing we will get them in May, so they will likely go up sometime in Feb.
