Combat with Minstrel+CharmedFollower+Warhorse

By DrunkenGorilla, in Talisman Rules Questions

I have a question about the following scenario, I was playing the Digital Talisman Game, and the combat did not work how I expected, so I am curious if I am just missing something, or if it may be a bug.

Character:

Minstrel

Base Stats - Str 2, Craft 4, Life 4, Fate 5, Gold 1

Objects - Talisman, Bane Sword (+2 Craft/InCombat), Flying Carpet, Solomon's Crown (+2 Craft)

Followers - Raging Bull (Str3 Charmed), Warhorse, Riding Horse

Scenario:

I roll 1 die to move, and I move to a spot with an enemy (creature card, don't remember the name) on it that is Str 6, and the text on the card reads something like, you cannot use Weapons against this creature unless they are Magic Items.

So, I go to attack this creature and my Attack with Str+Modifiers is 6. I am assuming that this is my 2 Str and my 4 craft (because of my Warhorse). My question is, why do I not also get a bonus for my Raging Bull that I have charmed, I tried to go to it to activate it, but the game did not allow me to use it.

Question is, is there something I am missing in this scenario? Does a follower count as a weapon? Is there some other reason I couldnt use it? Or was this just a flaw?

Thank you for any input on this.

Probably it was a flaw of the game.

You are entitled to add both the Warhorse +4 Strength (=Craft value) and the charmed Animal 3 Strength to your Strength in battle.

The Stone Golem blocks only Weapon that are normal Objects, e.g. a Sword.

Did you double click the Raging Bull in your play area or did you single click and your followers appeared and you tried to click the Bull?

As Talismansilat said, you need to double click on your Raging Bull (Gives you wings) in the cards you can use box. The bull strength should then be added to your score.

I was playing as the Minstrel and had a Gorilla follower. It was great roaming around setting my gorilla onto the other players.

Then the game crashed......Booooooo
