I saw Raiders from 2nd edition named a lot in this forums, many people houserule them back to that because they was strongest.

Well I m curious, what they do? because in our games they are The Feared card of adventure deck and when I see you guys talk about they are now weak...well, im so....

Old Raiders (even BI 4th edition had what I refer to as the "real" Raiders) took all your Objects and Gold . The new, sissified, nerfed, neutered Raiders only take your Gold .

Of course, I use the old Raiders (I keep the BI 4th ed. Raiders in the box and pull it out when Raiders is drawn; though since I play with regulars, they already know the deal).

Why are you fearful of the raiders, taking your gold is much of a big deal (yet) in the current edition.?

We play with the old 'real' raiders card rules.

in my language version of FFG Talisman the Raiders take all your golds AND objects placing it in Oasis (it is a event with priority 1).........that is because we fear them so much.

now im very confused lol

Which language version do you have, Andraax?

I have italian version of game, only basic game , dont know if reaper have different raiders, I checked whole adventure deck because maybe we was talking about different "raiders" (because my cards have different names of course) but they are the only event with priority 1 that steal stuff from you and stash it in oasis.

Well I seemed a bit stupid to read a little card 20 time hehe, but it is so, our raiders steal money and objects and Im not sleepy or drunk....i think......

By the way, I'm Italian too but I play the English version of the game. I had no problems making my friends accept a game in English, but when I try to involve other people it's always difficult.

Ah, we thought about the helmet in same moment when we saw it, too strange that a helmet defend like a armor and cost 3 golds less, a fast check on forums and we corrected it in our games. Easy stuff like helmet was easly resolved/discovered but i will check for more errata for harder stuff (thank you for the link).

Like i said in my "hello" topic I have no problems with english games ,I bought italian version of game mainly for my friends, but now they are so addicted to it that want me to buy the english version of expansions (they cant wait for translation) and the semplicity of game helped a lot.

About Raiders because everybody say that older version was better (and now i agree) and because I was "lucky" enough to get older version in new edition I will keep it in that way .

Now time to check this link so i could give many news when we play today (anybody help me to keep my friends away from my house door!!!!!....Friends: "Talisman.....Talisman... " in zombie style).
