yeah i was making a joke. he is a better bitter rivals :) with air and death. so sexy. hata's card is amazing.

he'll be good with empires ruin too.

thank you very much now i have to clean my moniter. no but seriously that is amazingly nice, i see sexyness with darkness blade

K, so lemme get this straight.

You can R when you commit one of your opponents foundations b/c he just says when you commit a foundation.

So Commit Chinese boxing for its cost, R. Resolve Chinese Boxing's effect, R again.

Pretty cool.

I knew that face on his back had a secret.

That's just nasty, I love it :D

Play Dio-Cega, react with Manifest Destiny, R Hata, resolve Manifest committing a foundation, R Hata, E Hata, R Hata, E Empire's Ruin, R Hata, E Personal Style, R Hata, 10M9, play another Cega, Hata E, Hata R, E Empire's Ruin, Hata R, E Personal Style, R Hata, 8M17...

*falls out of chair*

Remember, The R on the card would have to be played after all costs of committing for an effect are paid. As in, say you need to commit 2 cards to pay some cost. You can't go Commit, R, Commit, R. You'd need to pay the costs and then you can R (thus the Or More text in the effect.)

Also, I don't think you'd be allowed to pump your attacks off of committing things in your opponent's staging area. I'll ask Omar about this when I see him later tonight.

Well, going from the card's wording as the only key, cards that say "Commit your opponents foundation" would trigger it. >_>

As I said, I'm not entirely sure how it is supposed to work, though I don't believe it works off of you hitting your opponent's foundations. I'll find out though-no worries.

Erm guys, it's "R: After you commit 1 or more foundations..."

Meaning u commit 1 or more foundation for whatever reason like paying commit costs for foundation's ability

it could mean a lot of things. I think we should just wait for someone to tell us how it's supposed to be so we don't get yelled at for trying to make a normal card broken (re:Lynx Tail) simply because of symantics.

Seriously people?

I mean, really?

"After you commit a foundation"

That means

1) Paying the cost of a card

2) Using an ability that lets you commit a foundation in their staging area. (IE, ChiBoxing)

Yes folks... it's really that strong.

You E Commit Trapped in a Nightmare.

You R +1 +1 with :hata:

You then commit your opponents foundation with an R.

You R +1 +1 again.

Yes... it really works like that.

Artwork is 10 times better than any human character card we've had thus far, he looks like he belongs in the game now. I'd actually consider playing this :D

Wow a card really works how it's worded? What's going on here?

And you wonder why people have doubts that is how the card works? It's kind of sad that people's first instincts are to ask a rules question and doubt that the card actually does what it clearly says.

Jon Herr's artwork looks better than this. :P

Old habits are hard to break.

I will agree this card art looks great, but Jon Herr, looks even beter

Wow, stack this on the first one.

Play an attack, respond with Hata 1, R with Hata 2 from the 2 foundation cost, resolve Hata 1 effect to commit a foundation and +X speed (diff), R with Hata 2 from effect...

So... consider the case where he snipes a Chester's Backing. +1/+1 from Hata 2 after cost of Hata 1, +4 speed from Hata 1, +1/+1 from Hata 2...

+6 speed, +2 damage for committing two of your foundations. lol
