Spoof. Whole spoof. Nothing but the spoof.

By Taalon Roagh, in X-Wing

Ok I'll admit it....

....this topic is just a joke. For fun. For a few days now I've read people talking about Canon and EU. What should and shouldn't be allowed in X-Wing due to whether or not it is in the original three movies. Then the discussion has gone to whether or not the extra scenes in special edition "original" movies still count as being Canon. Frankly I'm tired of hearing about it. It's all Star Wars and should ALL be allowed in a Star Wars game.

Worse than that, now appearances of Star Wars craft in other sci-fi, or them appearing in Star Wars, poses the question of whether that makes them Canon or not. So in that logic, I justify what comes next....

In the hopes of lightening the mood, and on the expressed recognition that this is JUST A JOKE FOR FUN, I propose that the following should be included in X-Wing:

Space Stop 5 (neutral)

Spaceball 1/Megamaid (Empire)

Winnebago (Rebellion)

Darth Helmet (Empire)

Colonel Sanders (Empire)

Lonestar (Rebellion)

Barf (Rebellion)

These are from a movie called Spaceballs which was a Star Wars spoof by Mel Brookes. For those who feel these shouldn't be allowed in Star Wars Canon I present the following picture....

Lets also add a TARDIS that can go anywhere on the map as an action!

Prove that a Tardis appears anywhere in Star Wars, or vice versa, and you've got a deal ;)

All you need now are some plaid movement templates.

Doctor Who is Star Trek for peasants, no idea why that show gets so much attention, it's worse even than British cooking.

How dare you!!

I would have you know my cooking is so terrible I once poisoned myself!

I remember coming across this a long time ago in the forums and I figured it can see the light again.

"LUDICROUS SPEED!!!!!"

I must have that miniature

One of my favourite scenes was when Spaceball 1 was at ludicrous speed and then stopped.

I'll add that to the list....

oh yes....I'm seriously considering this for a joke.

You obviously haven't seen it. I used to think that and then I actually sat down and gave it a chance - mind was blown.

I only like Doctor Who when the Darleks are in it. Saw it when I was younger and enjoyed it, though not as much as I enjoyed other sci-fi. When the Doc returned, for some reason I just didn't enjoy it as much. But I did think David Tenant was the best Doctor, and I watched the episodes with him in them.

To all of you comedians who have really gotten in the spirit of this topic I shall simply say:

"Hey! I said across her nose not up it!"

The number is in direct proportion to basement dwellers still living at home with mom.

The chest-burster was always my favourite scene.

My favorite Dr is not the new one....it is the one before him or maybe before him...you know the one....the one that was the one untill he wasn't the one because he was replaced with the one that replaced him

That one? No, not the one. Not the one.
