When you encounter en enemy in the Cave, the Pits or the Forrest does it trigger things like Runesword or the Dark Cultists sacrifice thing? (also can you use the cross for the Dark Cultist thing?)

IIRC, Runesword and DC both use the keyword Enemy. Enemies are Adventure cards with that keyword . Things that attack you via Cave and those others are Creatures, so you can Evade them, but don't get benefits for those cards you mention. Enemy vs Creature is clarified on page 10.
