I have been playing against my friend who usually runs the falcon w/Han and 2 B Wings and 1 Y wing all B'and Y are set with ion's I'm usually running Fett outfitted with ion, siezmic charge, and gunner along with two TIE bombers with concussion missiles and siezmic bombs. love bombs!!! my question is this going to survive ion cannon hell? or is there any way I can maximize this squad to make it deadly?
Fett list building advice?
I'm having a bit of an issue figuring out the exact lists you're running.
I can GUARANTEE that there are better ways to build it, though.
Wait a second, he's running Han and THREE additional fighters? What point level are you playing at? And then you're challenging that with even fewer ships? I think a little information may be needed.

His opponent is fairly clearly not running a Gunner.
I'm sorry I forgot we were playing at 150, I will clarify better on what I'm looking for on this question, After months of me and my friend playing at 150 we have decided to go back to playing at 100pts I will always play Fett I'm just looking for a deadly squad to play Fett at 100pts, my friend will always pick his Falcon and some way to deliver ion cannon hell on me, I'm just looking for a way to better my efforts with Fett.
I was thinking Fett and bombers but I'm open to any ideas
I have this for my list so far. Fett, auto blaster, proxy mine, merc co pilot. scimitar squad pilot concussion missile, sismic charge, captain jonus , concussion missile , seismic charge, veteran instinct.
Edited by Grave133 ship Fet is tough because they obviously just focus down on him. I'd go with a swarm accompaniment myself.
swarm it up, hmm but I think it could use a unique pilot somewhere like howl runner or back stabber
take off autoblaster and get gunner instead, also look at maybe taking Expert Handling and Engine upgrade, i tried it on sunday and was very impressed at the manuverability especially with the rear firing arc, i really like Boba.

Have you tried accompanying it with shuttles?
How about this?

Boba Fett (39)
Expert Handling (2)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Proximity Mines (3)
Rebel Captive (3)

I will predict my friend will run a list with Han solo and either a couple of Y wings or B wings, more than likely B wings because he discovered that they can barrel role.

Always trying to convert everyone to the alabaster void manatee huh! I would personally go with sable's list as is has been proven time and time again that the white intersteller bringer of doom is a nightmare to the opposing player, except for b-wings that is. Have to fix that.
Oh? 100 points? I was confused what you were asking. How about this? I've had success with a variant of it:
Omicron Group Pilot (21)
Fire-Control System (2)
Gunner (5)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Boba Fett (39)
Expert Handling (2)
Navigator (3)
Academy Pilot (12)
Academy Pilot (12)
Total: 100
lol sable, I do have the shuttle, I love the look of the shuttle, I just haven't found the proper way to use it yet, in other words lack in experience of using it. and you swear by three of them? I
l have to check it out. I will say this. Vader on the shuttle is a game changer that my opponent didn't expect. He is what helped me win my last game.
Hmm, Boba is actually really good and cos of his movement bombs are good. I adore bombers to bits too so would go that way but how about Boba and Vader, with cheap ties? The idea I suppose being Vader with the right upgrades can b a pain on his own, as can Boba.set them apart and try a flank?
P.s. You'll notice I'm like a used care salesman with Tie Advanced..

does gunner on the shuttle allow you to shoot your primary weapon again if it misses? just thought this was only used for ships with secondary weapons

As you can see, if you miss with any attack (primary or secondary), you may use Gunner to perform a Primary weapon attack. So, with the shuttle, if I attack with my primary weapon and I miss, I may then immediately attack with a primary weapon again. If on another ship I were to, say, miss with an advanced proton torpedo or heavy laser cannon, I could then attack with my primary weapon. Note, the second attack may be against any target in arc and range, it doesn't have to be the same target (and in case of a HWK-290 with a turret, the original target may not even be in arc to attack).
So, with the setup:
Omicron Group Pilot + FCS + Gunner + Engine Upgrade
Here's how combat works.
1) Attack 1
2) Resolve Attack 1
3) Gain Target Lock
4) If Attack 1 missed, Attack again
5) Use new Target Lock if needed
6) Resolve Attack 2
7) Gain Target Lock again

Oh, you poor, poor thing.
Gunner is one of the best upgrades in the game, because he very nearly guarantees damage.
In this particular shuttle build, the interaction goes thusly:
- Attack!
- Receive a Target Lock on the defender
- If step 1 resulted in no damage, Attack!
- Spend the Target Lock received in step 2.
- Receive a Target Lock on the defender.
This interaction MELTS ships with 2-3 agility dice. It has a little trouble with ships with only 1 agility die, but that's because you're pretty much guaranteed to deal damage to them regardless.

I've been trying and so far failing to come with a good list for the great white space hippo, so I'll give this one a try.

Gunner (5)
