Im just wondering since the 1st two Regionals havent reached 32 ppl, and the NOVA one did. Is FFG still gonna keep the 32 ppl cap on to enter the dinner? or take it away so more ppl can attend?

just askin if anyone knows about it or not.

So Scuba... for the sake of clarity... steve said one of the two following this which is it:

• Every Regional Winner gets Noms

or

• Only the Winners of Regionals with 32+ in attendance gets noms.

or possibly a reduction in the number required, like 25+ people maybe.

I feel like the number should get a huge decrease in minimum requirement, anything over 16 people is a-okay with me. Regional prize support is a little lackluster, and the cost of the regional kit is fairly high, FoPs and AoPs what you got for winning was very clear and in hand, and it mattered(for a while anyways). If you win this, and the only prize you get is the somewhat lackluster prize support, and not a spot at the coveted free food table, I would be genuinely upset for the regional winners who don't muster 32 players(which is everyone but the one Chubbs won so far.)

I think if they keep the caop it should be changed to +25, or just have every regional winner attend, bc shaneths right i only wanted to go to win the dinner just like are whole team does.

I blew like 200 bucks + for a 1 regionals that I won, was up for past 36 hours and started playing after 24 hours of being awake... , if I don't get the dinner because other people didn't make the effort to show up, I am going to be very angry. Plus I do feel that the regionals has lack luster prize support, and I went for the dinner pretty much. The prize for me that FFG supplied (which I paid for + plus took time off work and travelled over 10 hours to get) was 1 life counter, 1 league kit, and 1 plaque essentially. How is it fair that I get punished for other people not making an effort to show up to the regionals.

Honestly I didn't know you got a dinner seat for winning till after I won. I really just care about proving al c. rocker wrong at any chance I get.

If you put any sort of cap on the regional dinner invite it's going to be a HUGE snub to the West Coast, and I can guarantee you that it will end up pissing off almost everyone over here.

Properly supporting the West Coast has been nothing but a debacle for UFS(do I really need to go into this?), and further excluding us from the "table" (per say) would just be another huge misstep.

My current plans to attend worlds are largely centered on hanging out with everybody and attending the dinner as a representative of the West Coast. Yes I will be participating in the tournament (of course), but my realistic investment is going to be in the good times had.

Putting a cap on the regionals dinner will be an even worse idea than grinders at worlds was, and I hope that Steve sees that. I don't want my Regionals invite to ring hollow, especially when I'm going to be dropping cash to be coming to worlds.

So far everything thats been said i agree with, bc most ppl were playing for the dinner. but hopefully an FFG person will c this post and replies and say something to Steve.

Sounds like Shajir is gonna be pissed if they still have the cap...

This game isn't even that big to fill 32 per regional.

There was 188 people at Worlds '07 and 118 people at Worlds '08. And that is WORLDS ppl...

If the cap of 32 is still there, then it's a good way to drop the ball.
