only been playing for a couple weeks and have tried to see if this question has been answered before, or if its in the rules and I just plain missed it.

if a player performs a K-Turn manoeuvre that lands on top of an asteroid does the ship still turn around? Im pretty sure that when you colide with another ship you dont turn around so I figured it would be the same for asteroid collision.

on a side note is there any way of searching the rules forum for a particular reference? (I couldn't see one anywhere on the page) I play other games and the rules forums usually have a search function.

When you would overlap another ship, you do not get to flip around on your k-turn (though you still get a stress token).

When you would land on an obstacle, you still flip around.

Unfortunately, there's not a very good search function for the rules forums. However, the community as a whole is very friendly and unlikely to get upset even if it is a question that's been asked several times before so don't worry about it.
