You should still come. I embarrass my self all the time. We play for fun. Are you free the 18th? Our league starts back up.

I'm currently working pretty much 20/7 until about the 28th of this month. Plus I live about an hour out from where this tournament is happening, so I'm not sure how much good I would be to a league, unless it meets on weeknights. My office is in Dulles, so that gets me closer.

I'm going to be there. I have 2 possible lists that I'm fighting with myself over, but both look like fun, so either way I'll be having a good time.

You should plan on 4hrs minimum. We average 15 to 20 players so we usually go 4 founds of swiss then cut to top 4. And I highly recommend checking out hothie's BatRep for some inspiration. Something tells me we're going to see a ton of variety though. Can't wait to get this going. Looking forward to a great turnout. See you all tomorrow!

This tourney had 21 people and lasted 8.5 hrs!

This is the problem I'm starting to have with tournaments. I made the final four cut but had to withdraw as it was already 6 pm and we'd played 4 games.

I am beginning to think that placings after 4 rounds of Swiss should be decided by

1. Total Win Points (5,3,0 as usual)

if tied after that

2. Total points worth of enemy killed

if tied after that

3. least points of your squad killed

if still tied, revert to strength of schedule.

in this tourney that would have given me

15 points

362 kill points for me

139 points killed against me.

You could easily work down from 1st to nth that way.
