Battle droids stats?

By Desslok, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Has anyone knocked out some stats for the assorted CIS battledroids? I was thinking of having a stash of old Clone War relics against the players some day, but I thought why bother reinventing the wheel when someone has almost certainly put together destroyers, super battle droids and the bog standards skinny battle droids.

I believe the basic battle droid is in the core book.

B1 battle droids are in both the Core Rulebook and the DM Screen adventure. Super battle droids, commando droids, tactical droids, super tactical droids, bodyguard droids, and -- most important of all -- destroyer droids all need to be statted out still. Given that most Clone Wars-era droids have been shutdown if not outright scrapped by the time of EotE these stats aren't THAT important, but I'd still like to see them myself.

Heh - that's what I get for working from work without a book. Ah well, I'll check 'em out when I get home. And yeah, the stats aren't as vital as stormtroopers and star destroyers, but war surplus droids make for good occasional security droids or - in this case - a wreck of a trade federation ship.

I cannot figure out why, but I can't copy/paste a url in this reply.

Search "battle droid stats gsa" in google. You should find all their stats in the "Threat Assessment" in the GSA website.

Check out the GSA (link in my signature), under the Threat Assessment column or do a search on the site using "droid" as your keyword.

I wrote up an alternate take on the B1, as well as covering the B2, the OOM-series, the Droid Commando, the Destroyer droid, and even the Vulture droid/starfighter.

Beyond the Rim has stats for B1 battle droids that are pretty much only being held together by hope and dreams.

I came up with some stats for B2s and Droidekas for my Beyond the Rim game, but they are not nearly as beefy as those in the GSA assessment...I used the worn out B1s as a base for B2s and just upped some characteristics and added built in heavy blaster pistols. Same idea with the Droideka but with shields. I have yet to use them in combat though so I have no idea if they will crumple like tinfoil before the might of my murderhobo PCs.

Well, my versions were intended to be CSA droids at their prime and being actively manufactured, not the barely-hanging-in-there rejects that are found in Beyond the Rim.

Stormtroopers often use Dwarf Spider Droids for squad level fire support.
