Why yes there is. There is a FB group called X Wing Michigan, and Big Kidz Games is constantly advertising tourneys, that apparently are rather successful. You just missed one on Saturday. I don't know if they have a regular game night or not, but I would suggest giving them a call to figure all of that out, or joining the FB group to get info on their next tourney, at which point you can talk with people that play the game directly.
