So what is every one will be the next thing that FFG publishes. Personally I am hoping for another book focused on Void-ships as i want more hulls and components what about everyone else.
Next book
I want more ships too, and hopefully less of the "same hull slightly different stats" thing we got. I know that the BFG stats are rather limited, but there has to be a way to make the hulls distinctive.
I'd like to see more Transports myself. Some more components would be great too.
i agree there are endless ways to add more but any more hulls maybe more rare super combat transports/q-ships but ill take what we can get.
Anything focused on the Explorator fleets in the Expanse or the Imperial Navy would be very nice.
Another option would be a whole book, either adventure or supplement, that dealt entirely with civilized
non-imperial
worlds. Either colonies established and then forgotten, or worlds that have been lost to humanity since the Age of Strife.
I'd also like to see some more about xenos civilizations that litter the Expanse. They don't even need a geographic location, if FFG didn't want to tie their hands, but a handy dandy listing of potential trading partners/future slaves/targets of genocide would be neat. But it's nothing a GM can't fill in on his own.
And yeah, following the trail of some Explorators would be neat.

And, combining these two ideas, more xeno ships.
not big on xeno ships they really don't need to have exact components as most of the time you cant use them anyway. If they could had more ships/components plus all the ones from the other books one nice neat ship book i would buy it asap.
Seconding Marwynn, I would like some more Voidfaring enemies, or even generalised rules for how to build "generic Xenos raider". I don't care too much about component or ship costs, but since the Expanse is supposed to be one of the few areas not really settled by the Imperium, I was sort of hopeful there would be more tiny Xenos empires that hadn't been completely obliterated by the Imperial War Machine.
I'd be fine without more Imperial Hulls, though a few more supplemental components or options for building ships would be nice. I like the Faith and Coin model of background text, a gear section with a little bit of everything and an adventure. Alternatively just a book like the Koronus Bestiary which has a list of new enemies for the Explorers, and then the backstory written in the text explains how you might be able to throw them in.
all interesting ideas

You may not be able to use them, while I on the other hand--cough--can't abide the use of xenotech at all. Cough.
But it's not so much for our use as it is for our gun crews' target practice. The Expanse is rather empty and apart from the xenos that raids every now and then we lack the alien empires that need conquering.
Some of these races might be half-human, half-xenos descendants and are deserving of death! But hey, they managed to make cheaper Torpedoes... that seem to be based off STC patterns.
Or what about an alien civilization that had the misfortune of having a voidship graveyard empty into their home system, bringing it with it the detritus of galactic civilizations? They'd be constantly pummelled with strange creatures with strange tech but if they survive they could have a crapton of useful stuff. Imagine if they perfected the construction of some STCs? Even "basic" ones like Strelov warp engines. They lack Navigators, so they can't put it to its fullest use. But you certainly could.
Stuff like that would be neat. I normally do that for these sandbox game universes but I'm only sub-GMing for my RT game, so it's not fair for me to design the alien races I'll be exploiting. I'm not even going to lie, that's what I'll be doing.
Rogue Trader: Empires of the Expanse or something.
Yeah another gazetter for empires would be cool, or even good charts for empire generation. I have been re-purposing the old Traveller random gen tables and they work ok but something specific to the universe would be spiffy.
