There really shouldn't be any surprises here. They did publish an article back in July 2014 before the release of the book detailing the species to be included in Far Horizons , just as they did for Lords of Nal Hutta in September. I'm sure they'll do the same for Fly Casual just before it ships.

Edited by DomingoThis may be a horrible idea, but here's my take based on a brief glimpse of their Wookiepedia page and a read through of what everyone else has to say, boiled down to simpler forms*.
Zetron A
-All starting Characteristics at 2
-Wound threshold = 10 + Brawn
-Strain threshold = 10 + Willpower
-Starting Experience = 110
Special ability:
- Smexy Pheromones : Zeltrons start with a free rank in Charm , and may train charm up to Rank 3 at character creation.
The wookiepedia page said that Zeltrons are in most ways incredibly close to humans, except that they're innately attractive. This reminded me of what something Sam Stewart said on The Order 66 Podcast regarding Suns of Fortune, and so I simply took the Correllian human and swapped out Piloting(space) for Charm. The mechanic is elegant in design, and flexible in use. It's almost like they're professionals or something.
-----------------
Zeltron B
-Starting Presence of 3
-Starting Willpower of 1
-All other starting Characteristics at 2
-Wound threshold = 10 + Brawn
-Strain threshold = 11 + Willpower
-Starting Experience = 100
Special ability:
- Smexy Pheromones : Zeltrons start with a free rank in Charm , and may train charm up to Rank 3 at character creation.
This version is basically the same idea, but brought more in line with other alien species. Presence of 3 is an obvious choice, and I lowered willpower due to the OP saying that Zeltrons are overly gregarious. But, as they have a strong metabolism and a reputation for partying all night long, I thought I'd increase their strain threshold back to human levels.

That version is close to your Zeltron B, but with a couple of other special abilities (empathy and a more alien pheromone ability).
YeS, They Are Innately Attractive, Which Is Why I Argue They Should Have A Presence 4. It Even Affects Non Humanoids And Emotionless Species. Drall Got An Intellect 4 Because They Like To Gossip. A Species Where They Can Imprint To The Point Where Husbands Will Leave Wives And Children And Life TheRest Of Their Life In Search Of A Zeltron They Let Once, This From The Comic, Should Have A Presence 4.
A Species That Used Their Presence To Stop 2 Imperial Invasions Should Have A Presence 4
Personally, I'm leaning towards them showing up in a future Force and Destiny sourcebook at this rate (possibly Consular). Based on what we've seen thus far, AoR seems to get the "ugly" species more often than not; Chadra-Fan might be deemed cute by some, but they're essentially bipedal midgets with giant bat heads. Meanwhile, FaD gets the Mirialans, Nautolans, and Zabrak, which generally fall into the "attractive" or "leading role" species, so they seem (thus far) to be slotted to get the "pretties."
Yep, that seems to be it so far. To be fair, a lot of the humanoid species (Mirialans, Nautolans, Zabrak as mentioned) are famed for being Force-users, so I was hoping they would turn up when F&D hit.
And yes, at present, the Alliance seems to resemble a furry convention seen under the influence of mind-altering drugs. Personally I'd like to see species that were aligned with the Alliance in the lore, rather than just random cantina filler like Chadra-Fan. But then, Prune Face aside, there's not too many aliens on the rebel side in the movies. Possibly the EU might offer some more? I guess they will need to get a bit creative if they have to fill up 5 more career splatbooks and possibly sector books too.
Personally, I'd just like to see a better balance between the freakshow species and those my players might actually want to play. We've had nothing but uglies for the last three splatbooks now, F&D Beta not included. Feels lopsided and imbalanced.
Not sure what to make of the Sakiyans in the next EoE splatbook. They are pretty freakish in the media I've seen, but the one in the preview seems to resemble the much-more-human Rattataki - she has pale skin and a normal-sized head. So I guess FFG have some licence to play around with the appearance of the species?

The Zeltrons that appear have also shown a tendency towards obsession, and in one of the novels a Zeltron actually mentions it as a trait of her species. That combined with hedonistic tendencies actual makes the starting willpower of 1 make perfect sense. I would also keep them at Brawn 2 because their metabolism and biology makes it virtually impossible for them not to be in at least reasonable athletic shape.
Also, taking from books and not just comics, their primary ability is not their pheremones, although those do function on a range of species (and function as Pheromones should - increasing sexual desire. Not like stupid mind-control pheromones). Their primary species advantage is their empathy. They can feel what mood other people are in, and can directly influence (but not control) that mood. Hence why its hard to be sad or angry on Zeltros - if you are, everyone knows, and will try and change it.
I actually started them with a rank of Nobody's Fool, and a blue to charm & negotiate
P.S. I'm a big Zeltron fan, and have a bunch of added exposition/head-cannon/deduction if you'd like it.
